Kempt Support

Kempt arranges your windows for you. Here's how to get the most out of it, and how to reach us.

Getting started

• Kempt lives in the menu bar (the icon of three windows). There's no Dock icon. Press ⌃⌥Space anywhere to open its menu.
• On first launch, allow Accessibility in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, so Kempt can move windows.
• Start the free 7-day trial from the dialog or the menu. After it, unlock Kempt with a one-time purchase.

Common questions

• Kempt moved a window I didn't want moved. Choose Undo in its menu. To keep an app in place for good, lock it in the menu.
• Nothing happens. Check that Kempt is allowed under Accessibility. If it is, turn it off and on again there.
• I bought Kempt on another Mac. Choose Restore Purchases in its menu.
• Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
